American Queen Steamboat Company

1 Longview Terrace, Histon Road
Cambridge CB4 3JH

The American Queen towers six decks high and is the world's largest riverboat sailing the length of the Mighty Mississippi. Antebellum décor, exquisite cuisine and genuine southern hospitality combine to provide a unique experience. Featuring broad shaded decks, an abundance of antique furniture, stained glass and mahogany panelling with a choice of wonderful accommodation including staterooms and suites with verandas. A choice of itineraries take the passengers back to a slower pace of life on seven night themed voyages that include the Civil War, Southern Culture, Mark Twin, Fall Colours and even an Elvis Presley tribute cruise, which includes a visit to Graceland (Priscilla Presley is the riverboat’s Godmother). The vessel’s main ports of embark and disembarkation are New Orleans, Memphis, St Louis, St Paul, Cincinnati and Chattanooga.
The American Empress meanwhile is slightly smaller but no less grand. It measures 360 ft with five towering decks and accommodates 223 guests in seven stateroom categories. The American Empress will sail the Columbia River and Snake River, offering seven-day voyages between Portland, Oregon and Clarkston, Washington. Ports of call include Astoria, The Dalles, Stevenson and Tri Cities. The voyages will be either Eastbound, Portland to Clarkston or reversed Westbound, Clarkston to Portland.
